At Mosaic Studios, we believe the best ideas come from collaboration, trust and initiative. We were born from a pivotal moment in 2024, when the parent company behind Assembly closed its doors, displacing the entire VFX department, including its leadership, production, creative and technical teams. Rather than let our legacy of innovation and collaboration fade, we came together to form a new, artist-owned company dedicated to continuing our shared vision.
While our core team is small, we’ve invented custom infrastructure and software that gives us the flexibility to scale up and down quickly in response to project needs. We’re committed to putting people first: our team, our partners, our clients. We value authenticity, and encourage input from everyone on our team, viewing our projects as group efforts where we share in each other’s successes and learn from our collective mistakes.
We foster a culture where creative and technical minds thrive and where diverse voices come together to push boundaries. We nurture an environment of comradery, where laughter is heard every day. We’re owned and led by a team of artists, developers and producers with decades of collective experience. Our diverse backgrounds yield unique perspectives and unexpected solutions. Where other companies see limitations, we see possibilities.

We started Mosaic Studios with an idea that if we put technology and artistry on an equal footing we could create award-winning work faster and more efficiently, without sacrificing quality. Our architecture means we can adapt our pipeline to suit the needs of any project, at any size.
